Account Manager Motor Dealers

• Hybrid working/Sydney CBD or Canberra location 
• Maintain and strengthen relationships (at all levels) with Distributors

About the Role:

The Account Manager is responsible for fostering strong client relationships, growing and retaining existing accounts and supporting the Account Management team as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, sharing industry knowledge and enhancing overall team effectiveness. You will play a crucial role in understanding client needs, strategising solutions, and ensuring the successful execution of projects and business objectives. By effectively managing client expectations and collaborating with internal teams, you will drive business growth, enhance client satisfaction and uphold our reputation as a trusted partner.

What You’ll Do:

• Achieve agreed targets for products distributed by the Motor channel 
• Identify new business opportunities and assist with broader retention strategies 
• Proactively identify opportunities to expand and upsell services to existing clients
• Proactively manage expenses and look for ways to reduce business costs
• Establish and maintain robust commercial relationships with existing and new clients 
• Independently formulate Strategic Business Plans for agreed accounts.

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous experience in Intermediated Introduced Business or Motor Dealer Industry is mandatory 
• Demonstrated Business Development experience strongly preferred
• Previous experience in Insurance or Finance Industries preferred
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative strategic and commercial partnerships, relationships and networks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills 
• Demonstrated knowledge of legislation including Code of Practice, Insurance Contract Act, Corporations Act, Privacy Act and any other legislation that applies to the Motor Dealer channel.
