We’re seeking a Senior Health Programs Advisor in Calgary to primarily support alcohol and drug testing along with other workforce health programs. In this role, you’ll coordinate testing activities, analyze program data, and help improve processes that support safe, reliable operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Significant experience supporting alcohol and drug programs and associated fitness-for-duty activities

  • Strong knowledge of workplace alcohol and drug testing practices, testing protocols, and safety-sensitive work environments

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in occupational health, health sciences, nursing, public health, or a related field or equivalent combinations of education and experience

  • Experience supporting occupational health, health surveillance, or health assessment programs

  • Experience coordinating vendors, alcohol and drug testing logistics, records management, internal reporting, and quality assurance activities

  • Strong analytical, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate alcohol and drug testing activities, including scheduling, tracking, notifications, documentation, and follow-up

  • Support testing program oversight by managing records, reviewing results, escalating issues, and maintaining safety-sensitive role information

  • Work with internal stakeholders and external providers to support program delivery, vendor performance, and quality assurance

  • Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and trend analysis to identify risks and improvement opportunities

  • Support continuous improvement of health programs such as fitness-for-duty, functional testing, and workplace health surveillance

Location and other Key Details:

  • This is an office-based role

  • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.

  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday

  • Our professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
