We're currently seeking a skilled and dependable General Lube & Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

As a General Lube & Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance services and inspections on commercial vehicles to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation. This position plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day readiness of our DOT fleet.

Key Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, lube services, fluid checks and top-offs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers

Conduct preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs) according to company and DOT standards

Inspect brakes, tires, lights, batteries, belts, hoses, and other essential systems

Record maintenance work using fleet maintenance software and ensure proper documentation

Communicate with maintenance supervisors about vehicle conditions and potential repairs

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Assist with road service calls as needed

QualificationsQualifications

1+ year experience in diesel/heavy equipment maintenance preferred (entry-level candidates with training will be considered)

Familiarity with DOT safety and maintenance standards a plus

Basic mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment

Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus but not required)

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
