As Regional Head of Key Account Sales, Northern & Central Europe, you'll lead, coach, and develop a high-performing organization of sales leaders and account executives across the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and the Nordics. You'll be responsible for driving regional growth, building a consistent sales operating model across multiple markets, and creating an environment where teams consistently exceed ambitious commercial goals.

This is a highly strategic leadership role, requiring someone who can combine commercial excellence with strong people leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and operational rigor.

  • Own the commercial performance and revenue targets across Northern and Central Europe, driving sustainable growth within the region.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture through coaching, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Define and continuously refine the regional Key Account sales playbook, ensuring consistent execution while adapting to local market nuances.
  • Drive forecasting excellence, pipeline health, and sales execution through structured business reviews, performance cadences, and data-driven decision making.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to strengthen SumUp's value proposition for enterprise and high-value merchants.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, increase productivity, and scale best practices across markets.
  • Develop future sales leaders by creating clear career paths, succession planning, and coaching frameworks.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior commercial leadership, providing market insights, performance analysis, and recommendations to accelerate regional growth.

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience leading high-performing B2B sales organizations across multiple countries or regions, ideally within SaaS, fintech, payments, or technology.
  • Proven success leading managers and developing high-performing sales teams through coaching, accountability, and clear performance expectations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing large regional revenue targets and complex sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable sales operating models, forecast accurately, and improve pipeline quality.
  • Experience leading distributed teams across different cultures and markets, balancing consistency with local market needs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset, comfortable using data to identify opportunities and drive business decisions.
  • Familiarity with modern sales technology including Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, MixMax, Lusha, and similar tools.
