About the team:
Our KYC Operations team sits at the heart of SumUp's merchant onboarding experience, making sure new businesses can get up and running quickly and compliantly. We review and verify merchant applications for the Spanish-speaking market, working to clear quality standards so that every case is handled accurately and on time. This is a great opportunity to build a solid foundation in financial compliance and operations, with the support of experienced colleagues around you from day one.
What you'll do:

Review and process verification cases for new and existing merchants, ensuring each case is completed accurately and within daily targets

Learn and apply KYC processes and Spanish market-specific requirements with the support of senior agents and quality assurance specialists

Use internal tools and databases to assess merchant information and flag any issues

Collaborate closely with team leads to ensure cases are handled in line with compliance standards

Contribute to keeping the team's case backlog under control for the Spanish market
You'll be great for this role if…

Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) at a professional level

Experience in a KYC, compliance, or customer support role is a plus, though not essential

Comfortable working with databases and digital tools, with solid general computer literacy

Ability to stay organised and meet daily targets in a structured, process-driven environment

Enthusiasm for learning new systems and processes, with a genuine willingness to ask questions and grow
