About the role

Job Summary
The MTCS Operations & Chemtech General Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the MTCS manufacturing operations across the Americas, including full responsibility for the Mexico manufacturing facility and oversight of the Humble, Texas operation. This role is accountable for operational excellence, manufacturing strategy, customer delivery, financial performance, and continuous improvement while ensuring a safe, compliant, and high-performing organization.
  • Lead all manufacturing and operational functions including Production, Project Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Business Improvement, and QESH to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations.
  • Own operational performance, financial results, manufacturing strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives across the region.
  • Drive operational excellence by improving quality, on-time delivery, cost, inventory, productivity, and cash performance.
  • Partner closely with commercial leadership to align manufacturing capacity with customer demand and support profitable business growth.
  • Build and develop high-performing leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and health & safety expectations across regional operations.

Qualifications & Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within industrial manufacturing or engineered equipment environments.
  • Proven experience leading manufacturing operations with full P&L, operational, and cost accountability.
  • Strong background in supply chain management, project execution, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation, operational excellence, and change management initiatives within global organizations.
  • Exceptional leadership, financial, and strategic planning skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and deliver sustainable business results.
