About the role
This is a hands-on role to liaise and support customers with onsite repairs and service, together with the Supervision of field services personnel, ensuring the day-to-day safe and efficient running of the assigned area.Dismantle, Inspection, machining, repair and rebuilding of both Sulzer and non-Sulzer rotating equipment
Field service repairs and/or overhauls in both workshop and client locations
Supervision of subcontractors, from time to time
Liaising with customers to compile job reports and represent Sulzer in all aspects of rotating equipment services.
Assist in the production and maintenance of the OSH, Quality and Environment policies and procedures
Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO accreditation
Interpreting engineering drawings
Balancing of rotating Equipment, and Alignment of pumps, motors etc.
Machining of components
Education requirements
Trade Qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Key skills / Experience / Role Requirement
5+ years’ experience with Electrical / Mechanical products.
Field Service Experience
Strong communication skills.
High level skills in time management.
Ability to engage and work with others.
Travel ~ >50% of time.
Language skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English is a must.
