Salary Range: 20.00 To 24.00 (USD) Hourly
Lead Operator first shift 3:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Operator to join our team in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry. As a Lead Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that all safety protocols are being followed. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate production records and communicating any issues or concerns to management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with ERP systems
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process and ensure that all products meet our high-quality standards.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that all safety protocols are being followed.
- Maintain accurate production records and communicate any issues or concerns to management.
- Train and mentor new operators to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
Skills:
As a Lead Operator, you will utilize your strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that all safety protocols are being followed. You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and mentor new operators and communicate any issues or concerns to management. Additionally, you will use your experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to continuously identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
