Sales Representative, Surgical Technologies - NorthWest Italy
About this role
Join Stryker’s Surgical Technologies team and play a key role in developing our business across Lombardia. You will have the opportunity to build a high-potential territory, partner directly with hospitals and clinical teams, and introduce innovative technologies designed to improve surgical workflows and patient care.

What you will do
Develop the Surgical Technologies business across Lombardia by identifying new customers and expanding opportunities within existing hospital accounts.
Build and execute quarterly and annual territory plans to drive sustainable sales growth and increase market penetration.
Engage with surgeons, operating room teams, biomedical engineers, procurement teams, and hospital administrators throughout the sales process.
Deliver product presentations, operating room demonstrations, evaluations, and customer training to support adoption of Stryker solutions.
Manage the full commercial sales cycle, including opportunity development, pricing, contracts, tenders, forecasting, and customer follow-up.
Educate customers on product capabilities, clinical applications, workflow improvements, and new product developments.
Maintain accurate management of demonstration equipment, customer activity, sales opportunities, and territory reporting.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams while ensuring activities meet applicable compliance, quality, and regulatory requirements.
What you will need
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
Professional working proficiency in Italian.
Working proficiency in English.
Previous professional experience within sales, customer-facing commercial activities, healthcare, medical devices, or a clinical hospital environment.
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a medical, scientific, technical, business, or related discipline.
Previous experience selling medical devices, capital equipment, healthcare technology, or solution-based products.
Previous experience working with hospitals, operating room environments, hospital procurement processes, or clinical pathways.
Clinical or nursing experience combined with previous exposure to commercial or customer-facing responsibilities.
Additional Information
Territory: Lombardia, Northwest Italy.
Location: Lombardia preferred, ideally Milan.
Work arrangement: Field-based.
Travel: Approximately 80% across the assigned territory.
Operating room presence: Regular presence may be required to support product demonstrations and evaluations, including periods of approximately 1–2 weeks depending on business needs.
Training: Comprehensive product and commercial training will be provided.

Italy Pay Ranges:
- Italy: €45.500 - €75.800 EUR Annual
