Management Accountant

23 Months Fixed-Term Contract

Location Anngrove, Carrigtwohill, Cork.

Hybrid: On Average, 2 Days Per Week On-Site

The Management Accountant is responsible for supporting Additive Financials to excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely provision of finance support to the site Operations team, local team leaders and the Director Finance - Additive to allow for effective planning and control of the business

What you will do:

  • Support the preparation of the management accounts for Anngrove within the timelines set out and provide financial commentary where required
  • Provide financial inputs as required for monthly business unit reviews
  • Support all cost-out initiatives across the site including monthly updates
  • Support the preparation of the site annual budget
  • Support the setting of the annual standard costs
  • Responsible for the preparation of the financial outlooks throughout the year and provide financial commentary on the associated risks and opportunities
  • Ensure that adequate internal financial controls exist and are adhered to
  • Support cross-functional and cross-divisional process improvement initiatives
  • Drive process changes in the Finance area to enhance the provision of information to key business owners
  • All other duties as assigned

What you will need:

Qualifications – Essential

  • Essential - A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)

Qualification – Desirable

  • A degree in a finance or business related subject or an equivalent qualification, and Professional Accountancy Qualification.

Experience - Essential

  • Minimum of 2 years working in an accountancy role
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing company

Experience – Desirable

  • Previous experience of working in a global company including US GAAP reporting (if applicable)

Specific Knowledge

  • Strong technical accounting background
  • Knowledge of internal control framework and risk mitigation
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes including inventory flows

System/Computer Requirements

  • Microsoft Office including proficiency in excel and co-pilot.
  • Previous experience of using SAP Business One ERP system is desirable.

Ireland Pay Ranges:

  • Ireland: €49,000 - €82,000 EUR Annual
