Lead Sales Associate

Stretch Zone - Uptown

Full-Time | Sales + Leadership | Health & Wellness

We’re looking for a confident, motivated Lead Sales Associate to oversee day-to-day operations, drive sales & membership growth, deliver an exceptional member experience—all while leading and developing a high-performing team.

As a Lead Sales Associate, you’ll act as the frontline manager, sales leader, and be a certified Stretch Practitioner. While coaching Sales Associates to achieve their goals is a large part of this role, you will also be well-versed in The Stretch Zone Method, our science-based practitioner-assisted stretching technique, to ensure that practitioners are properly and safely stretching all prospective and existing members, according to our strict guidelines and protocols.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead by example in sales, customer experience, and daily studio standards
  • Drive individual and team sales goals through lead follow-up, consultations, demos, and closing
  • Coach and support Sales Associates through sales conversations, objections, and follow-up
  • Help train and onboard new team members
  • Support the Studio Lead with daily operations, reporting, accountability, and studio performance
  • Build relationships with members, prospects, referral partners, and the local community
  • Help create a positive, energetic, and accountable studio culture
What We’re Looking For
  • Confident communicator who genuinely enjoys working with people
  • Goal-oriented, competitive, and motivated by results
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Organized, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership
  • Sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Background in fitness, wellness, healthcare, anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, or a related field preferred
  • Comfortable learning and following established sales systems and processes
Training & Certification
As part of our paid Lead Sales Associate management training, you will also complete a nationally accredited, 40-hour Stretch Practitioner certification program, consisting of both virtual and in-person training, to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in this role.

The Opportunity
This role is ideal for someone who has experience beyond membership sales. We are looking for someone with previous management/lead experience looking to grow as a leader, while making a meaningful impact on the health and wellness of our members.
If you’re ready to lead, sell, coach, and grow—we want to meet you.

What We Offer
  • Competitive pay, including base rate + commission
  • Regular performance reviews with base pay increase potential
  • Paid time off, after one-year, and paid holidays off
  • Paid management and on-the-job training
  • Free stretch sessions
  • Monthly bonus incentive opportunities, team building activities, and an annual holiday party
A Day in the Life
  • Your day starts by opening the studio and ensuring everything is clean, organized, and ready to welcome members.
  • As members arrive, you greet them by name, check them in, and make sure each person feels comfortable and cared for.
  • Throughout the day, you lead by example—coaching up to five Sales Associates, checking the schedule, answering phones, and following up on missed appointments.
  • You support the team in meeting membership sales goals by demonstrating how to communicate the value of practitioner-assisted stretching.
  • Between appointments, you're tracking performance metrics, reviewing KPIs, and ensuring the studio is hitting daily and monthly goals. If a member has a question or concern, you're there to resolve it with professionalism and a personal touch.
  • Every day, you're building a culture of excellence, accountability, and service.
Requirements
  • Minimum one-year previous paid experience managing 4-6 team members.
  • Retail &/or membership sales experience (cash handling, KPIs, P&L familiarity).
  • A genuine passion for health, wellness, and helping others succeed.
  • Ability to problem-solve and confidently handle challenges and issues effectively and efficiently with ease.
  • Accountability, transparency, and integrity with a lead by example mentality.
