The Parcel Experience BI Analyst sits at the intersection of data and operations — translating parcel performance data into decisions that reduce cost, improve delivery outcomes, and strengthen client relationships. This is a hybrid role: part analyst building the dashboards and models that power Stord's parcel intelligence programs, part embedded partner for brands who need someone who can explain what the data means and act on it. You'll own the analytical layer of the Parcel Experience team, with direct responsibility for client-facing cost and service analysis, and the BI infrastructure that supports both. The Parcel Experience BI Analyst sits at the intersection of data and operations — translating parcel performance data into decisions that reduce cost, improve delivery outcomes, and strengthen client relationships. What You'll Do
Analytics & BI
- Build, maintain, and enhance parcel performance dashboards and reports in Omni, covering delivery performance, carrier service levels, cost per shipment, dim weight and box utilization, and exception rates.
- Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, join, and structure data from Stord's TMS, WMS, and OMS systems.
- Support the Delivery Intelligence program — including DPMP (defects per million parcels) and Carrier Service Performance Program (CSPP) analysis — to surface carrier outliers and drive corrective action.
- Analyze carrier and client rate structures to identify cost savings opportunities, freight optimization levers, and service-to-cost tradeoffs.
- Automate repeatable reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and improve reporting cadence.
- Collaborate with the data and technology teams to improve data structures, maintain integrity across parcel data sources, and build toward more scalable analytics infrastructure.
Parcel Experience & Brand Ownership
- Serve as the analytical contact for Stord’s brands on quantitative parcel matters — QBRs, cost reviews, carrier performance discussions, and issue escalations.
- Develop deep familiarity with each brand's parcel configuration, shipping profile, and carrier setup within OMS/WMS/TMS.
- Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations that clients and internal stakeholders can act on — not just dashboards, but a point of view.
- Partner cross-functionally with CX, Implementations, Finance, and Carrier Strategy to resolve issues that cut across teams.
- Identify operational blockers — carrier configuration gaps, routing inefficiencies, service mismatches — and drive them to resolution.
- Support client onboarding and go-live readiness from a parcel analytics and configuration standpoint.
What You'll Need
- 3–5 years of experience in parcel data analysis, business intelligence, or supply chain/logistics analytics.
- Familiarity with parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, regional carriers) and how carrier rate structures work.
- Strong SQL skills — you're writing queries against real systems, not just pulling pre-built reports.
- Proficiency in at least one BI tool; Omni, Domo, Tableau, or Power BI experience all translate. Willingness to work primarily in Omni.
- Demonstrated proficiency in navigating and understanding OMS/WMS/TMS systems.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize operational data into a recommendation — not just a chart.
- Experience in a client-facing or account management capacity, ideally in logistics, 3PL, or e-commerce operations.
- Strong communication skills — you'll present findings to clients and to internal leadership, and the audience changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Science, related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Python or R for analysis beyond what SQL and BI tools can do alone.
- Prior experience in a 3PL or e-commerce fulfillment environment.
Company at a glance
Stord is the physical intelligence layer for independent commerce, giving brands the fulfillment network, software, AI, and robotics they need to own the entire relationship with their customer, from checkout to delivery to returns.
Prime reset what consumers expect from delivery, and every brand competing against it pays with margin, data, and the relationship with their own customer. Stord gives independent brands that same infrastructure advantage, without the trade-off. With Stord, brands grow revenue, reduce costs, and delight every customer they ship to.
Today Stord serves 1,000+ brands. Our network spans nearly 100 fulfillment locations worldwide, processes $15B+ in GMV annually, and reaches nearly one in four U.S. households.
Stord Labs, our physical intelligence lab in Atlanta, builds and tests AI and robotics on live orders before rolling proven systems out across the full network. The result is intelligence that compounds with every order that runs through it.
Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Strike Capital, Franklin Templeton, and other leading investors, Stord has raised $250M in Series F equity funding at a $3B valuation.
The physical intelligence layer for independent commerce is here.
This is a place for people who want to work at the edge of commerce and applied AI on real, physical problems, not simulations. The pace is intense and the systems you ship move real freight for real brands within days. If you want to build the infrastructure that defines the next era of commerce, this is where you do it.
