Monday - Friday, Part time, Afternoons 1-6pm
Salary: £12.90ph to £13.30 per hour, Salary will depend on experience and qualifications.

Hi, I'm Jo, the Nursery Manager at Wragby Road.

With 28 years of experience in early years education and an NNEB qualification, I began my journey as a Nursery Nurse and have since had the privilege of working with children of all ages—from newborns upwards.

I’m incredibly proud to lead a passionate and dedicated team who go above and beyond each day to support every child’s growth, development, and happiness.

At Wragby Road, we place great value on the relationships we build with our families. Our experienced team delivers rich and engaging activities designed to promote learning and development in a warm, nurturing environment.

From the moment you step through the door, you’ll be welcomed by a cosy, family feel where children feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. Our outdoor area includes an exciting log cabin for enriched learning, dedicated gardens for each age group, and free-flow access for under-3s—ensuring that our children can explore, learn, and thrive.

We love working in partnership with our families, offering regular stay-and-play sessions, parent information evenings, and open communication every step of the way.

You’ll be joining Wragby Road Nursery, as a key part of every child’s journey, keeping our children safe, loved and inspired through play-based learning.

Our nurseries are warm and nurturing environments that not only support children to be ready for school but also equip them with all the life skills they need to flourish and succeed.

How you’ll spend your time here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

  •          An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3

  •          Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings

  •          Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
