We are currently recruiting for Customer Service Representative to join our STC Sales/Commercial team. You will be joining a professional and international team with extensive knowledge of the industry. Working closely with our customers and vendors, you will provide customers with excellent service. Your expertise ensures that we will continue to set the industry benchmark for seamless and efficient operations.

Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk- liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 45,000 tank containers, STC is the only operator with its own worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots.

Key Responsibilities 

To support Sales Division in after-sales service; To purchase 3rd party vendor costings and update info in quote.

  • Create, update and communicate logistic solution quotes as requested by customers and China Sales, in accordance with STC policies.
  • Initiate post-quote follow up with customers on new business opportunities.   
  • Respond to STC sales’ inquiries on a timely basis, suggesting when possible, solutions generating improved service, cost or quality result for STC and its customers.
  • Responsible for updating of quote in AS400 and CRM system on a continual basis for all customers.
  • Contribute to the active improvement of STC’s commercial activities through sharing of ideas, concepts or improvements to systems or methods.

     

Qualifications 

  • College / University degree preferred or suitable industry experience.

  • General background knowledge of forwarding and shipping industry.
  • Strong international experience and awareness of cultures.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be ethical, organized and able to prioritize and set goals.
  • Common sense and problem solving skills required.
  • Marketing experience a plus.
  • Fluent English in writing and communication requires
