About this role
- Plan and execute vehicle projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for EHE organization at the vehicle level.
- Lead cross-functional teams within EHE organization, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Communicate vehicle requirements and provide support to Core Engineering Teams as needed.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report to stakeholders regularly.
- Manage project budgets, including cost rollup and budget allocation.
- Oversee GIMS/Issue Management and burn-down processes, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
- Identify the need for and coordinate War Rooms when necessary.
- Lead Assembly Plant Pilot builds, ensuring smooth execution and timely resolution of any issues.
- Coordinate software implementation trials (PER trials) and collaborate with EE SWAT team for End of Line (EOL) activities.
- Take the lead in resolving any SCA Vehicle Audit issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support to Core Engineering Team, including part verification, APQP, DV/PV, and Off Tool parts activities.
- Manage EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials) and oversee Quality/Warranty analysis, implementing necessary actions to address quality concerns.
- Coordinate Assembly Plant clean points and oversee Service Actions to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in the automotive industry. 10-year minimum
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a strong ability to analyze data and create compelling presentations.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving project objectives and meeting deadlines.
- Experience with budget management and cost analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of APQP, DV/PV, EBOM, and quality/warranty analysis processes is desirable.
- Familiarity with software implementation and end-of-line activities is desirable.
- Ability to travel to assembly plants, including the US or Canada, to support vehicle builds (20-40%)
