The RTW Fabric Sampling & Purchasing Specialist will join the RTW team based in Novara, reporting to the RTW Raw Material Manager.
The role will act as the main point of contact for fabric sampling and purchasing activities, supporting the research, development and production handover of fabric collections.

The position will ensure the correct coordination of suppliers, systems, sample materials, orders and internal stakeholders, contributing to the smooth execution of the RTW development process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support fabric research and development activities, acting as the key point of contact between the RTW team, the London-based research office and external suppliers.
  • Manage relationships with fabric suppliers, including requests, follow-ups, price negotiation, quality checks and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure the correct management of fabric information within internal systems, including coding, order entry, updates and tracking, in coordination with the Production team.
  • Own and maintain the seasonal fabric archive, ensuring the accurate organization, visual representation and continuous update of fabric catalogues and material libraries.
  • Monitor and manage the seasonal sampling budget, tracking sampling costs, purchase orders and related expenditure to ensure alignment with budget targets.
  • Coordinate the availability and allocation of materials required for prototype development, working closely with the Product Development and Warehouse teams to ensure timely sourcing, stock visibility and delivery of fabrics throughout the development process.

Your Talent:

  • At least 3 years of experience in fabric sampling, fabric purchasing, textile sourcing or a similar role within the fashion/luxury industry.
  • Previous experience in supplier management, order follow-up, price negotiation and material tracking.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Previous experience with Stealth, PLM and/or Kubix is considered a plus.

 

   Salary Range: € 35.000 - € 40.000 Gross Annual Salary (RAL).
