Overview

Inspects the quality of scrap into the yard

Responsibilities

• Follow safety requirements.▪ Follow work procedures to ensure high quality scrap for our mill▪ Scrap inspection▪ Testing of scrap chemistry▪ Reporting non-conforming material▪ Communicate effectively with other employees and on-site contractors

Qualifications

• Strong safety awareness▪ High school diploma or equivalent▪ Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and walk several miles per day▪ Good communication skills (verbal, written, & electronic)▪ Self-motivated▪ Works well with others▪ Quality & detail oriented▪ Outstanding computer skills including Excel and Word
