Job Summary
This role contributes to the success of Starbucks Asia Pacific by serving as analytical and data engine of the AP product & marketing and product innovation team. The role builds and leverages the team’s data ecosystem, synthesizing business, consumer and market insights into actionable short term and long-term growth strategies. This role tracks and measures initiatives to maximize ROI. This role works with cross-functional and international teams to inform, guide and deliver product and marketing initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
I) Regional Portfolio Strategy and Architecture
•    Develop and guide portfolio strategy. optimize planning across the product & marketing team and creating relevant recommendations to drive product roadmap across beverage, merchandise and lobby to drive growth.
•    Category Health and Performance tracking. Monitor category health and identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Project category growth and set targets to achieve business goals.
•    Insights Partnership. Partner with corporate strategy & insights team to define consumer research and leverage learnings for strategy development.
•    Consumer-centric trend analysis. Leverage quantitative and qualitative consumer insights to identify whitespace and protect brand and product relevance.
•    Inform innovation pipeline. Identify trends, competitor insights and local market nuances to inform product development pipeline.


II) Integrated Business Planning & Strategic Operations
•    Planning execution. Operationalize integrated planning for fuller product & marketing teams, connecting product pipelines with master calendar. Ensure teams are aligned to vision and executing to strategy
•    Monitor business performance. Tracking performance vs. plans regularly, and proposing plans to address potential gaps.
•    Manage and update calendars. Collate markets’ calendars, identify opportunities and make recommendations for future initiatives in the regional calendar.
Ensure regional product & marketing calendar is regularly reviewed, updated and socialized with key stakeholders.
•    International alignment. Operationalize processes to streamline planning and coordination with international regions and US. 
•    Reporting & analysis for decision making. Creating actionable reports that leaders and markets can leverage to inform strategies and define necessary actions to be taken 
•    Lead Cross functional projects. Own and manage cross functional AP strategic projects and reporting, to help eliminate silos and drive speed to market 
•    Organizing strategy workshops. Work internal and international stakeholders to design workshops for discussions on performance and informing plans.
•    Center of Excellence best practice sharing. Identify, collect and share best practices to scale successes in AP and with other regions.
