Senior QA Automation Engineer

• Design and implement comprehensive QA strategies for complex ecommerce systems covering frontend, backend services (Node.js/Java), payment gateways, inventory systems, and order fulfillment. Define quality metrics and establish quality gates for all releases.
  
• Architect test automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript with advanced patterns including page object models, data-driven testing, and parallel execution. Build CI/CD integration for automated testing at every code commit.
  
• Develop deep expertise in API testing for complex ecommerce microservices. Test payment APIs, inventory management systems, recommendation engines, and third-party integrations. Validate API performance, security, and data consistency.
  
• Conduct advanced performance testing, load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing for ecommerce platforms. Design realistic scenarios including seasonal traffic spikes, flash sales, and concurrent user loads. Analyze metrics and provide optimization recommendations.
  
• Write complex SQL queries for comprehensive data validation across order management, customer data, inventory systems, and financial records. Verify ETL processes for catalog updates and transaction logging.
  
• Lead QA initiatives including security testing, PCI compliance validation, GDPR compliance verification, and fraud prevention testing. Establish security testing protocols and conduct penetration testing for payment and customer data flows.
  
• Mentor multiple QA engineers, conduct technical interviews, establish QA standards, and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and automation. Lead test design workshops and promote quality-first culture across development teams.
  
• Design comprehensive test plans for new ecommerce features including cart persistence, wishlist functionality, personalized recommendations, multi-region support, and promotional campaigns. Balance manual and automated testing based on risk assessment.
