Position Summary

The Manufacturing Analyst will serve as the data and process improvement leader for Asset Management, helping transform modular office trailer manufacturing for reconfiguration and makeover programs into a highly efficient, technology-enabled operation. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Asset Management, this role will bridge manufacturing operations, engineering, finance, and technology by leveraging analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence to improve operational performance. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable on the production floor and analyzing data. They possess strong analytical skills, understand manufacturing operations, and proactively leverage AI technologies to improve business processes, reporting, forecasting, and operational performance and presenting to the General Manager to make data driven decisions.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Analyze manufacturing operations to identify opportunities for increased productivity, reduced waste, and improved quality.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Utilize AI tools to automate reporting, streamline workflows, improve documentation, and generate operational insights.
  • Perform labor, material, and production cost analysis.
  • Support production scheduling and capacity planning.
  • Analyze manufacturing bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop standardized work instructions and best practices.
  • Lead or support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with facility layout optimization and manufacturing flow improvements.
  • Analyze reconfiguration and makeover processes for modular office trailers and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Evaluate production performance against established goals and identify root causes of performance gaps.
  • Support inventory optimization and material flow initiatives.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations using data visualization tools.
  • Ensure manufacturing data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Research emerging manufacturing technologies and AI applications that improve operational performance.
  • Support implementation of digital manufacturing initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects focused on operational excellence.
  • Maintain documentation for manufacturing standards and processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 3+ years of manufacturing, industrial engineering, operations analysis, or continuous improvement experience preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP – Oracle is system of use
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience using AI platforms such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, or similar tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience performing cost analysis.
  • Ability to analyze production workflows and recommend improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.
