About this role

The Business Development Representative for Stallion’s is responsible for the development and implementation of sales efforts for the rental of all Stallion products and services. This position plans and manages all sales efforts in accordance with established goals set by the Regional Sales Manager.

Role Priorities / Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop opportunities for new product placement and service delivery for our business units
  • The ideal candidate is a hunter and maintains a heavy schedule working with prospective clients
  • Ensure that our firm is represented in the territory
  • Develop and maintain rapport with existing and potential customer base
  • Anticipate, understand and manage all existing and developing customer needs
  • Effectively communicates opportunities internally and logs them into Salesforce
  • Comply with short-term and long-term sales goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
  • Management and development of proposals
  • Attend and participate in local company/industry sales and marketing events as required
  • Adhere to individual expense (T&E) budget
  • Identify RFP and competitive opportunities in multiple market verticals.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Adept at identifying, qualifying and closing sales opportunities
  • Competently sets individual goals/KPI’s and drives to overachieve them
  • Must be an excellent negotiator and able to close on major sales
  • Ability to self-motivate to generate leads and make cold calls
  • Plans and manages the sales efforts
  • Self-disciplined and possess excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Follows the company’s expense and reimbursement policy
  • Upholds the highest standards in Stallion brand compliance
  • Experienced managing a monthly sales quota and revenue expectations
  • Has initiated, developed and maintained successful customer relations efforts
  • Excellent and professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM

Education or Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • 3+ years of sales experience in general, residential and commercial construction and/or rental sales
  • Security and Surveillance Sales experience a plus.
