Warehouse & Cold Chain Management

Job Summary

The Senior Manager - Warehouse and Cold Chain Management is responsible for the overall management and strategy of the Warehouse, including Transportation and Order Processing function. He/She drives strategic initiatives, large-scale implementation projects and interventions, and sets the direction of the warehouse’s business continuity and planning.

He/She is a strategic advocate, sensitive to customers’ needs, and is pro-active to deliver results and persuasive to obtain buy-in among internal and external stakeholders. Being resourceful and systematic, he/she exercises active management of business resources, manpower, internal assets and external partners to drive profitability of the business.

Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)

Business Administration Operations 

  • Drive and expand recurring revenue streams within the framework of the organisation’s vision and overall objectives
  • Front development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes
  • Drive development of business continuity and succession management for mission critical roles that have financial impact to the organisation
  • Foster a value-based culture and a culture of accountability in the organisation
  • Drive the organisation's governance, compliance issues and reporting
  • Drive organisation’s compliance to data governance and protection
  • Lead high-performing teams, attract and retain talent, provide mentorship and guidance to management
  • Drive development of resource and cost management optimisation plans based on the market practice and business environment
  • Drive operational policies, standards and procedures
  • Drive risk mitigation plans

Business Process/Continuous Improvement 

  • Provide overall and strategic leadership, develop long-term planning and lead to realise the organisation's growth agenda
  • Drive improvements to the organisation's operations through feedback and identification of issues
  • Drive business process improvement solutions to determine effectiveness

Safety and Health 

  • Set organisational Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) strategy to manage compliance rates
  • Drive safety and health risk assessment
  • Drive behavioural change at organisational level to address non-conformance of WSH standards
  • Drive WSH solutioning discussions around suggestions to improve existing processes

Technology Application 

  • Drive organisational transformation projects and programmes development

Sales and Customer Service 

  • Cultivate strong relationships with public and private sector stakeholders
  • Drive business plans to grow the markets of vertical sectors
  • Drive business plans to grow the business
  • Engage in targeted conversations that steer customers to solutions that address their needs
  • Drive intervention strategies to mitigate gaps in delivery of logistics services

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of SAP/Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Power Platform Applications 

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in any logistics-related field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience
  • Singaporean only
