Job Summary


Resourceful and analytical, the Senior Manager - Continuous Improvement/Business Process Re-Engineering (Ops Development) trains, facilitates and promotes the use of CI (Lean Six Sigma) BPR methodologies through coaching of project teams to continuously streamline processes operations, and eliminate waste to improve efficiency to achieve cost savings.
The Senior Manager - CI/BPR (Ops Development) acts as STL change agent in driving positive change in business and operational excellence, and also aims to build a knowledgeable workforce with the capabilities to excel in business performance through continuous improvement and business process re-engineering.
He/she develops long-term strategies projects to improve productivity by managing transformational projects in the supply chain including timelines, budgets, internal and external partnerships, and change management.
Analytical and logical, he/she is required to identify areas for improvement and perform operations research and analytics. He/she is also expected to coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement new processes.

Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)


•    Inculcate Continuous Improvement (CI) mindsets through deploying Lean Six Sigma, Business Process Management and Change Management throughout the BUs supported
•    Facilitate business process re-engineering or job redesign projects to influence aspects of the business that relate to operational efficiency and effectiveness.
•    Collaborate with Verticals/ BUs to achieve the desired business results in key areas such as equipping colleagues with the relevant skills to deliver and improve the value proposition through effectively performing and improving day to day operations (which includes job redesign, business process re-engineering and the adoption of Technology/Automation and Digitalisation).
•    Analyse the costs and benefits of the current business processes within warehouse operations.
•    Coach and develop Lean Six Sigma practitioners.
•    "Drive and lead/facilitate cross-functional project teams to:
•    • Ensure project goals are on budget and on schedule
•    • Analyze business, processes and systems performance, and identify improvement opportunities
•    • Ensure improvement methodology and tools are utilized effectively to achieve maximum results"
•    Propose better ways to approach problems

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

•    At least 10 years of relevant experience will be preferred

•    Black Belt certified with proven ability in the application of Lean Six Sigma and BPR methods and tools.

•    Business Process Re-engineering and Organisation/Job Redesign skills. 

•    Trained in Project Management (Prince 2, PMP or equivalent).

•    Good knowledge of ISO Accreditation and Certification standards.

•    Good knowledge of HSE and Sustainability practices

 •   Work Location : 60 Pioneer Road, Tuas

 •   Work Days & Hours : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm 

 •   Singaporean only
