Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the CNC machine shop and manage manpower allocation.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure quality, delivery, and safety targets are achieved.
- Utilize Mastercam for CNC programming and process optimization.
- Troubleshoot machining, production, and quality-related issues.
- Train, supervise, and support CNC machinists and operators.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and machine utilization.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience and 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Mastercam programming.
- Familiar with CNC milling machines, lathes, and machining centers.
- Able to perform CNC programming, machine setup, and process optimization independently.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Familiar with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, or precision engineering industries.
- Familiar with Fanuc CNC control systems.
- Experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
