Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the CNC machine shop and manage manpower allocation.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure quality, delivery, and safety targets are achieved.
  • Utilize Mastercam for CNC programming and process optimization.
  • Troubleshoot machining, production, and quality-related issues.
  • Train, supervise, and support CNC machinists and operators.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and machine utilization.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience and 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in Mastercam programming.
  • Familiar with CNC milling machines, lathes, and machining centers.
  • Able to perform CNC programming, machine setup, and process optimization independently.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Familiar with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace,  or precision engineering industries.
  • Familiar with Fanuc CNC control systems.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
