About this role
Responsibilities:
- Finite Element Analysis and Vibration
- Able to work independently utilizing ANSYS to carry out accurate modeling and analysis of vessel structures
- Global Analysis of ship structure
- Hydrodynamic loading
- Refine model and provide suggestions on how to optimize the design for weight savings.
- Structural Design and Modelling
- Have a good fundamental knowledge of structural design and calculations in order to streamline design
- Conceptualize ship and deck structure drawings and carry out calculations
- Able to do 3D modeling in Aveva Marine software.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University, or equivalent
- Be part of a team of engineers to carry out structural design and calculations
- Technical experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Vibration studies and analysis, and able to do modeling and run simulations of the same.
- Strong knowledge of international design codes, Classification and Statutory Rules and Regulations
- High proficiency in 3D modeling skills using 3D CAD software will be an advantage.
- At least 5 years relevant experience

- Location: 16 Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
- 5 days work week
- Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
