Mechanical Technician-HVAC (Tuas)

About this role

Responsibilities:

 

  • Involve in cleaning, adjusting, and repairing of HVAC system, provision plant and other related equipment.
  • Trouble shooting of defects/faults for HVAC systems, mechanical defects & pumps etc.
  • Carry out general repair and maintenance jobs onboard vessels or in workshops
  • Perform repair and /or replacement of mechanical spare parts
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.

 

Requirements:

 

  • NTC / Higher NTC in Mechanical/Electrical related field.  
  • Prefer min 1 to 2 years' experience in Marine or heavy industry sector
  • Understanding of basic principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
  • Able to carry heavy load and work at heights
  • Possess basic understanding of basic components and functions of mechanical systems
  • Able to read simple drawings and service reports
  • Able to conduct basic communication with customers & among Team members
  • Able to use IMTE tools such as Micrometer, Bore Gauge and Torque Wrench is a plus

 

Other Information:

 

  • Location: Pioneer Sector (Daily transportion expenses reimbursable to and fro) 
  • 5 days work week
  • Working Hours: 7.45am-5pm
