Assistant Piping Supervisor-Ship Repairs (Gul)

About this role
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day to day on-site project supervision for conversion/repair of commercial/repair vessels
- Ensure works daily assigned jobs are carry out effectively and productively in order to meet customer specification and requirements.
- To ensure quality assurance on works completed to achieve delivery deadline, target and no safety incident.
- Accountable for Safety for all workers and men under his charge.
- Ensure and enforce safety regulation and requirement are complied with
- Constantly seek improvement in productivity and processes in the course of work
Requirements:
- Diploma or NTC in Mechanical or Marine related fields
- Preferably 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience in marine industry for piping works onboard marine vessels
- Possess experience working onboard marine vessels
- Able to read piping diagrams
- Understanding of machinery equipment and its functionalities
- Understanding of marine classification requirements.
- Knowledge on piping material requirements for both repair and new construction
- Possess man-management experience in workshops and onboard vessels
Other Information:
- Location: Gul Road (Island-wide transport provided)
- 5 days work week
- Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
