About this role
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of EHS policies, procedures, and standards in line with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the compilation of reports to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to promote safety culture and environmental awareness throughout the facility.
- Coordinate and participate in safety training programmes, drills, and awareness campaigns to ensure employee competence and engagement.
- Maintain records of EHS activities, audits, and compliance documentation, supporting management reviews and certifications.
- Keep abreast of evolving laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to environment, health, and safety, advising the organisation accordingly.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives that reduce environmental impact and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in environment, health, and safety roles, preferably within the marine, manufacturing, or heavy engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations and standards applicable in Singapore and internationally.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging employees across multiple levels.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to learn and adapt digitalisation and AI initiatives.

- Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
- 5 days work week
- Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
