- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, controlling, or similar leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, internal controls, and IFRS.
- Experience with month-end close, consolidation, intercompany processes, treasury, tax, audits, AR, and AP.
- Experience overseeing payroll processes and external payroll providers.
- Experience leading teams in Finance and/or Administration.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn financial data into meaningful business insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A track record of driving process improvement, automation, and organizational change.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken.
- Lead financial reporting and month-end close, ensuring timely, accurate, and IFRS-compliant results.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, KPI reporting, and financial performance analysis.
- Translate financial results into actionable business insights for local and senior leadership.
- Oversee treasury, cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and intercompany processes.
- Lead tax compliance, external audits, technical accounting matters, and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and data integrity across systems and consolidation processes.
- Partner with operational leaders to understand business and revenue drivers and ensure complex transactions are appropriately reflected.
- Drive smarter ways of working through process improvement, automation, technology, and digital tools.
- Manage capital expenditure budgets and investment reporting.
- Oversee payroll processes and external payroll providers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and appropriate controls.
- Lead Finance and administrative responsibilities, including office administration and local services.
- Build strong relationships across SSC Space and provide financial guidance and business support to the Country Manager, Head of Budget Control, and CFO.
- Transportation support: Company-provided transportation to and from your home OR a transportation allowance.
- Breakfast & lunch: Complimentary daily meals at our on-site cafeteria.
- Hybrid working: Flexibility combined with in-person collaboration.
