Your role on the dream team: Teacher Assistant at Drummond Road

A day in the life of the Teacher Assistant:

  • Be part of a professional early intervention team, which includes teachers, speech, occupational, and physical therapists.
  • Evaluate preschool-age children using a team approach.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive evaluation reports, plan, and implement Individual Educational Plan.
  • Assist teachers in an inclusive preschool setting with children who are typically developing and those with special needs
  • Assists in providing direct supervision, care and support to children.
  • Carry out educational, creative and recreational activities in classroom or play park. 

Schedule:  Monday-Friday 10:30AM-6:00PM (40 Hours)

The tools you need: 

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 1-2 years experience working with young children. 
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Clear, pleasant and courteous communicator, both written and oral.
  • Dedication to young children.

Monday-Friday- 10:00am-6:00pm- 40 hours, 52 weeks.
