About this role

Sphinx is hiring its first sales hire to build the revenue engine from the ground up alongside the CEO. In this high-impact, zero-to-one role, you will own the full enterprise sales cycle with banks and fintechs while laying the foundation for a world-class sales organization.

What youll do

  • Own the full sales cycle from first touch to signed contract with banks, fintechs, and MSBs worldwide.
  • Build the sales playbook, define scalable processes, and hire the first AEs to grow the team from scratch.
  • Partner with the GTM team to generate, qualify, and refine a predictable, data-driven pipeline.
  • Collaborate with leadership on pricing, packaging, territory strategy, and competitive positioning.
  • Translate frontline customer insights into product priorities, marketing narratives, and deployment improvements.

What Sphinx is looking for

  • 4+ years of sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quota.
  • Proven success closing enterprise deals with an ACV around $100K.
  • Experience selling into banks, fintechs, or crypto companies.
  • Full-cycle sales expertise spanning prospecting, negotiation, and close.
  • Proven experience building predictable, data-driven pipelines alongside GTM teams.
  • Ability to develop sales playbooks, define processes, and scale a sales organization.
  • Comfortable partnering with leadership on pricing, packaging, and competitive positioning.
  • Prior startup experience and a builder mindset, ready to create structure from zero.
