Job Summary
The Hub Receptionist will answer incoming calls, greet guests and applicants, and portray a professional image of the company to the general public.
Hours and Wages
- Monday-Friday, 10:00AM- 3:00PM
- $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct all incoming calls to the correct department or individual
- Take messages for appropriate department or individual as needed
- Greet and assist visitors and applicants in a professional and friendly manner
- Open and close the front lobby
- Assist with customers at the walk-in counter
- Sort and file various paperwork for departments
- Light cleaning duties of the front lobby and office areas to keep a clean and neat appearance
- Update the phone directory as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle a large call volume
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional attitude and appearance
Education and Experience
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous reception, clerical, or administrative experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
