Job Summary

The Fulfillment Package Handler will distribute materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations within the fulfillment center.

Hours and Wages

  • Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM
  • 5 hours of OT may be expected each week
  • Paid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week
  • $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Load, unload and move palletized freight by hand and with manual and power pallet jacks
  • Un-palletize and sort freight according to product type and/or destination
  • Scan barcode labels of packages for tracking and billing purposes
  • Stack freight onto pallets in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently
  • Secure palletized freight prior to shipment using shrink wrap machines
  • Assist in the process of picking product according to customer requests
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations; report any unsafe acts to management
  • Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
  • Perform other required duties as assigned

  • Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently

Education and Experience

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in distribution or transportation industry preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to spend a minimum of 8 hours on your feet
  • Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight in the warehouse
  • Ability to work with all types of freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
