Accounts Receivable Specialist- St. Cloud, MN

Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will receive and invoice payments for services rendered.
Hours and Wages
- Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
- $18.00-$20.00, per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and send out daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly cycle counts
- Record, store, and analyze information using accounting software
- Receive payments and post amount paid to customer accounts
- Debit, credit, and total customer accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
- Research and answer inquiries or disputes about accounts for customers
- Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts
- Submit invoice data in shipper/third party payer required formats
- Reconcile and process credit card transactions
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
- Clerical or administrative experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced computer and keyboarding skills
- Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred
- 1+ year of related experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone
- Must be able to list up to 15 pounds at times
