Description

At EGA Spectro Alloys, our drivers play a key role in keeping operations moving safely and on time. This position supports daily production by transporting company freight between facilities and third-party warehouses while maintaining high safety standards and professionalism on the road.

This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented CDL driver who values safety, consistency, and doing the job right. Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends, rare overnights)

What You Will Do

  • Operate a Class 8 tractor pulling a 53-foot dry van trailer
  • Transfer loads between the Spectro facility and third-party warehouses
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure DOT compliance
  • Secure and inspect loads using chains and binders
  • Visit weigh stations and adjust loads as required by regulation
  • Accurately record delivery times, hours worked, and required documentation
  • Assist with unloading when needed
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members using GPS, CB radio, and onboard systems
  • Follow traffic laws and company safety standards at all times

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • Valid CDL license (Class A)
  • Minimum of two years of CDL driving experience with a clean safety record
  • Completion of a professional truck driving program preferred
  • Strong commitment to safe operations
  • Ability to follow established procedures
  • Ability to read, understand, and accurately complete required paperwork and electronic logs
  • Strong attention to detail
