Overview
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing social-emotional services for students who require additional support to thrive in school. They will deliver high-quality services as provided by SESI, and collaborate with both school personnel and families to provide services to students. - Competitive salary range $95,000-$100,000 Candidates with experience should expect to come in at the mid-range

Responsibilities
- Assess each new student and evaluate OT needs
- Monitor therapy programs and consult with educational staff regarding the inclusion of appropriate occupational therapy treatment strategies into the educational program.
- Educate and demonstrate (verbally or written) therapy techniques to teachers and parents that can be incorporated into the classroom/home.
- Consult on IEPs and provided required documentation of students’ needs and supports.
- Monitor and manage the handwriting and keyboarding curriculum and train staff/parents in any applicable techniques.
- Provide group therapy interventions for K-8th grade classes.
- Assess and evaluate all students’ needs for individual or small group OT sessions.
- Attend parent/teacher meetings for students’ receiving OT as needed.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Professional licensure from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a school, special education, or behavioral health setting working with children and adolescents is preferred.

USD $95,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
