POSITION SUMMARY

Provides clinical and administrative supervision, training, and mentoring for case managers and rehabilitation specialists on assigned team. Ensures clinical quality and productivity standards are met or exceeded by direct reports. Ensures that assessments and individual service plans are developed and implemented for each member on their team.

Thorough and working knowledge of psychiatric and co-occurring disorders is imperative. Knowledge of DSM-V–TR codes and descriptions, psychotropic medications and crisis intervention. Must display excellent leadership skills. Requires effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow direction, use of sound judgment and excellent time management skills are essential. Must maintain good recipient relationships, and be able to identify priorities and stay organized. Preferred typing skills of 25-40 wpm. Knowledge of community based behavioral health services preferred. Specialized knowledge of co-occurring substance abuse disorder assessment and treatment and housing needs assessments and resources is preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in a field related to behavioral health or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.

Minimum two (2) years experience working with seriously mentally ill adults.

Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience preferred.

Must maintain current CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options certifications.

Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
