About this role

We are seeking a full-time Qualified Professional (QP) in Pembroke/Parkton, NC, to support our Adult Residential recovery center – Ron Barnes.

Your impact on the team’s mission

The Residential Qualified Professional is responsible for providing structured and scheduled activities for adults aged 18 and older with MH/SA disability. You will provide services that are individualized, recovery focused approach that promotes the development of wellness self-management, personal recovery, natural supports, coping skills, and self-advocacy skills and development of independent living skills for housing, employment, and full community inclusion. Qualified Professionals are responsible for tasks that ensure a beneficiary has 24 hour a day, seven (7) day a week access to supports to meet their behavioral health and physical needs. 

Some of the daily activities you would do as the QP at Ron Barnes are:

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and screenings.
  • Provide SACOT/IOP group therapy.
  • Collaborate with staff, social workers, addiction counselors, and other healthcare professionals to develop effective case management strategies.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities you will bring.

  • Must meet NC Qualified Mental Health Professional standards.
    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and minimum required experience with the population served. 
  • SACOT/IOP experience preferred. 
  • Conflict management and excellent communication skills needed!
