Job Description Summary

The Non-Invasive EKG Cardiology Tech contributes to the efficient operation of the Non-Invasive Cardiology department while promoting the philosophy of SEH to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.


Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Performs EKGs;
  • Applies Holter Monitors to patients;
  • Assists in management of finalized Holter Monitor reports and importing them into Epic;
  • Maintains stock on EKG machines throughout the hospital;
  • Assists in the management of EKGs within Muse & Epic.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience Required

  • Successfully complete and pass EKG recognition test.

Minimum Experience Preferred

  • N/A

Minimum Education Required

  • High School graduate or equivalent;
  • BCLS certification required.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation;
  • Basic typing and computer skills.
