Are you a recent Graduate with a degree in Cyber Security and keen to build your career in a growing, high-impact area?

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Security Specialist to join our Information Security function at Sopra Steria. In this role, you’ll help manage and reduce risks associated with third-party suppliers, playing a key part in protecting systems, data and client environments. You’ll be joining a developing team where you can gain hands-on experience and build your expertise in third-party risk management and cyber security. What you'll be doing:

  • Assessing new and existing third-party suppliers and reviewing their security controls.
  • Supporting procurement, commercial and project teams to understand supplier-related cyber risks.
  • Monitoring supplier risk using tooling such as Bitsight and producing clear reporting.
  • Supporting the development and improvement of supply chain security processes and policies.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and introduce automation.
  • Supporting the response to supply chain-related security incidents.

What you’ll bring:

  • An interest in cyber security, information security or risk management.
  • Awareness of risks relating to cloud services, SaaS and third-party suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

It would be great if you had:

  • Exposure to security frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials or National Cyber Security Centre guidance.
  • Understanding of third-party risk management concepts.
  • Experience working with structured processes such as onboarding, compliance or risk assessments.
  • Awareness of data protection principles such as General Data Protection Regulation.
  • Interest in security tooling or risk platforms.
