Join our Asset Management team supporting our Aerospace, Defence and Security clients, where your work will play a key part in delivering efficient, controlled and compliant IT asset services.

As an IT Asset Analyst, you’ll help manage hardware and software assets across their full lifecycle – ensuring accurate records, supporting compliance and providing valuable insights to support decision-making.

You’ll be based in Farnborough initially, required to be on site 2 – 3 days per week (with more time in the office during the initial stages).

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintaining accurate records of hardware and software assets within the CMDB (Configuration Management Database) ensuring data integrity across the full lifecycle.
  • Validating asset information through audits and reconciliation activities, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Monitoring asset movements, assignments and status changes, ensuring accurate tracking and visibility.
  • Managing software usage, entitlements and renewals, supporting licence compliance and optimisation.
  • Producing reports on utilisation, lifecycle status, compliance and cost trends, providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Supporting procurement, onboarding and disposal processes while ensuring alignment with ITAM (IT Asset Management) policies and governance standards.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience working in an IT services environment.
  • Knowledge of ITAM practices.
  • Experience working to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • ITIL qualification or similar professional service management certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience working with software licensing and compliance.
  • Understanding of service delivery models.
  • Experience supporting audits or governance activities.
  • Awareness of procurement or contract management processes.
