Senior A&R Manager (m/w/d) - Century Media Records

Berlin · Remote ok

About this role

(full-time, permanent, Berlin or anywhere in Europe by arrangement)

You knew the band before they sold out venues? Your playlists are ahead of the curve, not following it? Metal, rock and alternative aren’t just genres to you — they’re your home turf? Then this might be your stage.

Century Media is one of the world’s leading labels in heavy music. Now we’re looking for someone who’s not just part of the scene — but actively shaping what’s next.

What you’ll be doing

  •  Live where the scene happens: shows, festivals, online spaces – building real relationships with artists, managers and key players worldwide.
  • Spot what’s next before everyone else does – and turn potential into global careers.
  • Work hand-in-hand with label leadership and marketing to define where the label goes next, creatively and strategically.
  • Make deals happen: structure, negotiate and close agreements with confidence and credibility.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse – from underground buzz to breakout viral moments.

What you bring to the table

  •  Metal/rock/alternative isn’t just taste — it’s instinct. You know what matters before it trends.
  • You move fast, think independently and take ownership. No ego, no waiting around.
  • Solid A&R experience and a network that actually opens doors.
  • You thrive in chaos, speed and constant change – and know how to navigate it.
  • Fluent English, deal-ready. German? Nice to have, not a dealbreaker.
  • You’re curious, connected and always on the move — physically and mentally.

What we offer

  • A dynamic, international environment at one of the leading companies in music and entertainment
  • Opportunities to shape and grow artists on a global scale
  • A collaborative culture with passionate teams across markets
  • Flexible working models and a modern workplace setup (depending on location)
  • Competitive compensation and a range of local benefits tailored to your region
  • Access to a strong global network and development opportunities within Sony Music
