Automotive Accounting Assistant
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join our dealership team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in accounting, finance, or automotive dealership operations and is looking to gain hands-on experience.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and willing to learn. Automotive or accounting experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks
- Process and organize invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile transactions and verify financial information
- Enter and maintain accurate data in accounting/dealership systems
- Assist with deposits, payments, and other dealership accounting functions
- Maintain organized records and files
- Communicate with other dealership departments regarding accounting questions or documentation
- Assist the accounting office with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with numbers
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Willingness to learn new accounting and dealership software
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or dealership experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule
Part-time schedule with approximately 25 hours per week.
Schedule can be discussed based on availability and dealership needs.
