As a Lead Maintenance Technician here at Solstice, you will be responsible for mentoring, guiding, and providing directions to 5 other mechanics. In addition, you will also be responsible for performing maintenance and repair on a variety of industrial mechanical systems and equipment, such as forges, presses, high temperature ovens, and metal fabrication work. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations through your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide oversight of work being done by other maintenance mechanics
- Provide instruction and guidance on best practices to complete work
- Utilize SAP (or a related MRP system) to manage jobs, order parts, and develop work plans
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of industrial systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement improvements and resolve issues.
