Technical Service Engineer
About this role
Join our team as a Technical Service Engineer supporting post-sales installation, service, and optimization of dosing systems, pumps, electrical cabinets, and related equipment for Solenis clients.
Key Responsibilities
You'll travel frequently across Romania, visiting clients’ quarters
Install and service custom-made equipment like dosing pumps, electrical cabinets, valves, and pre-assembled systems from multiple suppliers, and ensure functionality
Provide close support to sales and troubleshoot the equipment
Lead on-site installations, guiding external contractors (you handle complex tasks; train them on simpler ones)
Conduct client training on machinery operation, prioritizing safety when working with chemicals
Prepare detailed service reports post-visit
Collect data, document repair estimates with evidence, and monitor workshop inventory for spare parts stock
Participate in annual health & safety sessions and apply them rigorously
Handle admin like weekly planning, reports, and personal development (courses) from the office/home on Fridays
Requirements
Minimum 2 years electric background
Certified in electricity, especially electrical panels
Advantage: Automation experience integrating equipment from various suppliers
Frequent domestic travel (driver's license required); strong delegation for guiding contractors
Minimum B1 English (reading focus)—for manuals, schematics, and upgrade sessions
Location: Preferably around Bucharest or central Romania
