About this role
- Performing preventive maintenance, basic repairs, inspections, and diagnostic testing for all Solaire-owned vehicles to ensure operational reliability, safety compliance, and cost-efficiency.
- Supports fleet availability by coordinating scheduled maintenance, validating external repair quotations, inspecting completed vendor work, and responding to emergency repair situations both and off property.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and properly recorded.
- Inspect and verify workmanship of completed repairs performed by external vendors before vehicle release.
- Conduct emergency repairs on-site or off-property for Solaire-owned vehicles that are immobilized due to mechanical issues.
- Identify mechanical issues early to prevent escalation and major breakdown
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
- Experience handling fleet vehicles is an advantage
- Familiarity with hybrid vehicles is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic diagnostic testing.
- Understands automotive mechanical & electrical systems
- Ability to interpret repair quotations and technical findings
- Good in both written and spoken English
