About this role

This is a hands-on technical position focused on understanding and enhancing existing EDI infrastructure, implementing new EDI integrations, supporting trading partner connectivity, troubleshooting production feeds, and improving automation across the EDI ecosystem.

The ideal candidate combines deep EDI expertise with hands-on experience in Microsoft/.NET technologies, SQL Server, APIs, and modern integration environments.

? What You'll Do

  • Analyze, design, and develop enhancements and extensions for EDI application interfaces and maps.
  • Learn, document, and support existing EDI file structures, workflows, mappings, and integration points.
  • Build and maintain new EDI files, maps, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external trading partners to gather requirements and implement EDI solutions.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing EDI feeds, ensuring data accuracy and timely transmission.
  • Perform EDI testing and identify mapping, configuration, and data discrepancies.
  • Troubleshoot failed transactions and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop tools and scripts to automate and optimize EDI configuration and maintenance.
  • Work with APIs and modern integration architectures where applicable.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.


Requisitos

Required Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of professional experience in EDI development, integration, and support.
  • Strong hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting EDI maps and interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT standards.
  • Experience with EDI communication protocols such as AS2 and FTP/SFTP.
  • Hands-on experience with an enterprise EDI platform such as PrismHR Data Bridge, IBM Sterling Integrator, Cleo, or a comparable EDI solution.
  • Experience working with trading partner integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft development technologies, including C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core, and MVC.
  • Strong SQL Server knowledge.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and modern application integrations.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Advanced English (B2+/C1) for collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.
