About this role
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of Living Quarters facilities onboard Shell Prelude.
Reporting to the Living Quarters Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering equipment installations, preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance across accommodation areas, bathrooms, common spaces, galley facilities, and laundry equipment. Corrective maintenance will be varied and include repairing, replacing, and making safe ad hoc handyperson tasks in a timely manner as directed by your manager.
You will also assist with maintenance planning, spare parts management, procurement, asset management, maintenance scheduling, and the administration of Sodexo and SAP maintenance management systems. Working closely with onsite stakeholders, you will interface directly with our client and collaborate with subcontractors engaged by Sodexo to deliver specialist maintenance services.
This fast-paced role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can manage changing priorities, respond effectively to operational requirements, and contribute to the ongoing reliability and presentation of Living Quarters facilities.
About You
The following (current) prerequisite training requirements apply to this role:
- Electrical Tradespersons License
- MSIC
- LV CPR
- BOSIET w/CAEBS
- eChute
You will be required to undertake and successfully complete a site-specific medical including drug & alcohol screening, induction, permit to work training, competent electrical person and isolating authority as per site access requirements.
