Job Description
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Provide strategic leadership for all food service operations within a dynamic campus environment.
- Lead a diverse team focused on delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.
- Build strong client partnerships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee retail dining, catering services, conference operations, and seasonal business activities.
- Manage financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, labour management, and cost controls.
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture focused on engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation, operational excellence, and business growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all company, client, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive food service leadership experience.
- Proven success managing food service operations with full Profit & Loss accountability.
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
- Experience leading multi-faceted food service operations.
- Previous management experience in a unionized environment preferred.
- Experience managing catering, conference, and hospitality services.
- Strong proficiency with technology, including POS systems, digital menu boards/screens, and Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong team-building, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze financial results and use data to drive business decisions.
- Red Seal certification is considered an asset.
