The Details 

Competitive Pay: $24.00/hour

  • Benefits from Month 1
  • Wednesday to Sunday / Wednesday to Friday 11:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday Sunday 8:30 a.m.- 6:00 pm with flexibility to stay later on catering and business required evenings
  • The position is located at St. George’s School (Junior Campus) in West Point Grey, Vancouver, close to UBC and Dunbar Street. Easily accessible by transit from Kitsilano, Kerrisdale, and Downtown Vancouver.

What You'll Do 

As a key player on our Campus team, you’ll help create moments that matter. Whether you’re serving up smiles in the dining hall or keeping things running behind the scenes, you’ll be part of a mission to make students feel at home. 

As a Dinner Cook, you will: 

  • You will be offered is a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to cook healthy and appealing menus for consumers.

Qualifications

What You Bring 

  • You have a minimum of 2+ years experience in a similar role

  • Able to work unsupervised

  • Execute menu plans

  • Able to work alone and work as a team

  • A team-first attitude and strong communication skills 

  • Physical ability to meet job demands (e.g., lifting, standing for long periods) 

  • Commitment to safety, respect, and inclusion 

  • Work Organization skills
